Kim Shaw, DDS
Dr. Shaw earned his undergraduate degree in dental hygiene and psychology in 1984 and 1985, and then proceeded to obtain his dental degree all from The Ohio State University in 1989. After graduation he completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Work Experience and Associations
Dr. Shaw has been a practicing dentist for the last 33 years after completing his residency and then moving to Florida. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and has been a charter member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
As a dentist, Dr. Shaw strives to make each dental experience with patients as comfortable as possible and believes in helping each patient understand any care they are looking to have completed.
Dr. Shaw has been very involved in his community volunteering either with his children at school or church and has volunteered with the Florida Baptist Convention in providing dental care to those in need, and with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Foundation in providing dental services to survivors of domestic abuse.
Out of the Office
Away from the office you’ll find Dr. Shaw reading, at the beach, on a bike ride, or enjoying time with family. Dr. Shaw and his wife have five beautiful children and two grandchildren.
