Dr. Donald Horn

Over 20 Years of Experience in Dentistry

Raised in San Diego, California, Dr. Horn earned his  Bachelor of Science degree in biology from San Diego State University. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he moved to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Case Western Reserve University Dental School. While at CWRU, he served as president of his class for three years as well as student council treasurer for two years.

In addition, he was awarded the Paul P. Sherwood Award for excellence in endodontics, The International College of Dentists Award, and a Health Professionals Scholarship from the U.S. Army. After graduating CWRU with his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree, he entered the U.S Army as a dentist. During his military career, his focus on dentistry turned more to endodontics. After four years as a captain in the Army, he accepted a residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Providing Exceptional Endodontic Care

Dr. Horn received his certificate in endodontics after a two-year program. He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1997 and has practiced the specialty of endodontics in both private and group settings. His affiliation with Monticciolo Sedation and Family Dentistry began in 2006. Over the years, the demand for his specialty has continued to grow along with Monticciolo Sedation and Family Dentistry’s growth. He became the full-time staff endodontist in 2018. His training and experience allow him to provide excellent care for the patients he treats.
