Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry

The days of painful, anxiety-filled dentist visits can be a thing of the past. Sedation dentistry helps people who are afraid or uncomfortable get through their procedures with ease.

One out of seven people suffers from some form of dental anxiety. These people may avoid going to the dentist and often suffer severe consequences. Sedation dentistry with Dr. Monticciolo offers an alternative for people who:

  • Are too anxious to even make the first appointment
  • Need a dentist they can trust
  • Are in pain when they eat
  • Are overwhelmed with the thought of multiple visits
  • Eager to smile again with confidence

It’s Never Too Late To Start

No matter what your situation, we can help you turn back the hands of time. From broken teeth to root canals and pain elimination, sedation dentistry can help you regain your health.

Take The Edge Off

You’re not the only one who faces anxiety at the mere thought of going to the dentist. Fortunately, sedation dentistry allows your dentists to accomplish multiple procedures while you relax.

Hours Seem Like Minutes

Most people are hesitant about going to the dentist because of a negative past experience. Sedation has an amnesic effect, meaning you’ll remember very little of your visit, and the time will seem to just fly by. When your treatment is over, your companion will take you home, and you’ll be amazed that the appointment is already done!

Budget Accommodation

We’ll work with you to maximize your insurance benefits and make convenient financial arrangements.

The Process

Step 1 – Schedule:

The first step is to make your appointment. This can be difficult for some, so we try to make this process as easy as possible.

Step 2 – Consult:

We’ll gather information regarding your health and discuss your goals. Next, we’ll take X-rays. Finally, we’ll present you with a complete treatment plan.

Step 3 – Prepare:

In this pre-op appointment, we take all your vital signs, answer questions, and fill out paperwork.

Step 4 – Arrive:

Your companion will bring you to the office. We will complete all your paperwork, record your vital signs, and provide additional medication. Your experienced sedation team will escort you to the operation room and monitor you throughout the procedure to make sure you are relaxed.

Step 5 – Depart:

Your companion will take you and your new smile home and stay with you until you are completely recovered from your sedation medication.

Step 6 – Recover:

Most patients feel no discomfort or residual effects the next day. You can now regain your confidence and have the smile you’ve always wanted.
