Dr. Emad Barakat

Dr. Emad Barakat is a compassionate and skilled general dentist with over a decade of experience in the dental field. He began his journey in dentistry by earning his dental degree in Egypt, and later expanded his expertise in the United States with a Master’s in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University.

Dr. Barakat is Invisalign® certified and passionate about preventative care and patient education. He takes pride in helping his patients understand their oral health, aiming to treat issues before they become bigger problems. His philosophy is simple—treat every patient like family, with honesty, kindness, and a gentle approach.

A proud member of both the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association, Dr. Barakat is also deeply committed to giving back. He volunteers regularly at his local church dental clinic and participates in programs like Give Kids a Smile.

To better serve patients who experience dental anxiety or require sedation, Dr. Barakat joined Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry—one of the most trusted names in sedation care in the area. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels safe, comfortable, and respected.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Barakat enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He’s an avid chess player and loves playing table tennis and soccer in his free time.
